One of the ways we try to give back through Obsessed Artist is to promote creativity and help ensure that healthy imaginations shape our world to come. We created a non-profit that functions within oa: one with hopes of making a positive change and uniting the world with artistic influence. We naturally named our non-profit World United. World United is an entity catered to the needs of obsessedartist.com: envisioning a world united through the arts.
Engaging Communities
Because Obsessed Artist puts a lot of stock in the mantra “think globally, act locally!” we jump at the opportunity to lend our time and resources toward involving ourselves in community pursuits and enhancing the presence of the arts within it. If it’s teaching elementary kids how to tie-dye and draw self-portraits, or contributing to a collective mural on a long forgotten building, we look forward to being involved! If you yourself are organizing a community event, be sure to recruit volunteers through our many tools including our member uploaded events calendar section, and give everyone a chance to make a difference!
Art Auctions
Obsessed Artist is prepared to host many art auctions, with proceeds benefitting art programs in schools, and private scholarships which we award.
Auctions with proceeds going toward art education will contribute toward sparking interests and developing creative talents at a young age. Since our company exists solely online, we have the freedom of travel so we will be able to raise money for multiple schools over large areas. We can currently only host these auctions in the U.S. as our resources are limited, but we hope to expand in the future.

Private Scholarship Fund
5% of all the proceeds from the website are donated to World United’s private scholarship fund, these donations are helping less privileged artist's pursue their art education past high school. We've created our own private scholarship in order to help give talented artist's a little financial help in achieving their goals as an educated artist.
This includes most forms of artistic expression and is not limited to canvas or photography. The artist will be selected from, and will be limited to the artists within our database of members. The artists receiving our scholarships will be chosen in accordance to our requirements, expected to meet certain specifications and voted upon by our head staff members.
We can't expect to please every gifted artist, but we are very grateful to have the opportunity with the help of our members, to give back to those with a similar passion as all of us involved with oa; to have creativity and inspiration flourish in the world with the help of artistic expression.
